What is the biggest challenge China has to face after it enters the WTO?

M: After the entry of the WTO, we are facing many challenges, although it is a good chance for China to strategy to catch up with the advanced industrial countries.
W: Yes, but it also means that we have to meet more challenging demands.
M: Well, I think creating employment opportunities is a big challenge for China to face.
W: Yes, China has a labor force of about 600 million, it is clear that lots of people will be seeking jobs within the next few years.
M: That must be a big burden for Chinese government. Not only in terms of tax, but also the change in reform and policy.
W: Two thirds of the Chinese labors are in rural area, so there will be another challenge facing our country.
M: What is it, please?
W: The big gap between rural and urban areas. Ever since the 1980s, only a few cities in China has developed and achieved great progress. There are growing gaps between urban and rural areas. If the gap is not narrowed, there would be creating many new problems.
M: It sounds serious. Well, what about outward dimensions, such as anti-dumping?
W: That’s really a problem. Although the European Union countries no longer label China as a non-market economy, the US and Australia will continue doing so for the next 15 years.
