The local art festival is a three-day event held every year during the third week of April. This year we are holding it from April 16-18. It is an entirely volunteer-run festival. Share your time and talents, and work with many of Oldham’s art-loving people!
Before the festival
From March 18 to 29, we need people in the following committees: artwork categorization and labeling, workshop organization, advertising and promotion, and pre-registration.
From April 1 to 15, volunteers are needed to set up shade areas, cut down grass in camping areas, wash chairs and tables, paint stages and booths, and build stage backdrops and banners.
During the festival
During the festival, we need people in these committees: registration, kitchen, first-aid, safety, recycling, and stage and sound crew.
After the festival
After the festival, we will appreciate help in the two-day general cleanup, returning of equipment, and dismantling of stage and booths.
Registration of volunteers
All volunteers may register with the Oldham Art Festival Organization. Call the event coordinator. Tel. 800-356-4736 no later than March 14.
