Please turn off your computer, come downstairs and snatch some food. Love Daddy!" It seems rather ridiculous for parents to communicate in this way with their child under the same roof. Obviously, the drawer intends to warn us against the overindulgence of children in the Internet. No one denies that as one of the most convenient and informative media, the Internet has greatly enriched our life and improved the efficiency of our work. And the last decade has witnessed the growing power of the Internet serving as a communication medium. However, an increasing number of people, especially children, are addicted to it. They are indulged in the cyber world and can hardly adapt to the real life. Some of them have trouble communicating with people, with others totally isolated and secluded from the real world. In my standpoint, no matter how fantastic the cyber life is or how convenient online communications is, interpersonal communication is an indispensable part of our real life. After all, the Internet has been invented to benefit our daily life rather than replace it.
