Many islands have been or will be engulfed. The people living in such islands will lose their homeland and have to move to other countries to live. Rising sea level also brings changes to the habitats of wild animals. Many wild animals may face a decrease in habitats and food. Secondly, global warming results in more extreme weather all over the world. For example, we’ve witnessed extreme high temperatures in India in recent years.
