How long will the twins remain on life support machines?

Doctors in the Canadian city of Toronto say an operation to separate conjoined twins from Zimbabwe went well. And they are optimistic about the boys’ recovery. The seven-month old brothers were born joined at the abdomen, and with their livers connected. As it’s normal for this kind of operation, they are expected to remain on life support machines for at least a week.
