答案 Eliminating the Deceptive Behaviors in Advertisement As is vividly depicted in the picture, a businessman is lifting a scarecrow who is dressed like an expert and seems to give some professional advice. The most striking feature of this picture is that the scarecrow is not a real person and the businessman just gives advice in the name of the expert. It is apparent that the cartoonist aims at reminding us that there are deceptive advertisements in our daily life. Nowadays advertising becomes part of our lives. We can see and hear a mass of advertising messages in various media every day. But with the development of the advertising, there are more and more deceptive behaviors in it. For example, at present there are lots of businessmen who advocate that their products are approved by experts in order to promote sale, but in fact the expert doesn’t even know about the products. Owing to these deceptive behaviors, customers have lots of complaints. Therefore, it is necessary for us to take measures to put an end to this kind of behavior. According to me two measures could be adopted. On the one hand, government should enact a law to prohibit those deceptive behaviors in the advertisement. On the other hand, customers also should be alert to the advertisement and resist those deceptive ones. From what have been discussed above, we should take some measures to stop the deceptive behaviors. It requires the joint efforts of the government and consumers. Only in this way can we protect the rights of our consumers.
