    First，there are dragon boat races．Dragon boats are very long．They are painted in bright colors．In each boat，there are many people rowing．There’s also somebody beating a drum．To win the race，a person in the boat must grab the flag at the finish line．The winners of the races get big prizes and money．Races take place all over China．Many people go to the riversides or lakesides to watch the races．Many other people watch the races on television．
    During the Dragon Boat Festival，people also eat a special kind of food called Zongzi．To make Zongzi，people prepare meat，beans，peanuts and other things．They mix several things together with sticky(黏性的)rice．Then，they wrap(包)it all in a leaf．They cook it for two or three hours．
    There are all kinds of Zongzi．Some are sweet，and some ale salty．They all taste good and are very filling．People like to make Zongzi at home．They would also give it to friends and relatives．
    On the day，families have a big meal together．Besides Zongzi，families prepare many delicious plates of food．The Dragon Boat Festival is a great time for everybody．
