For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic Students Grading Teachers. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words following the outline given below:
Students Grading Teachers (1) Recently, it is common in colleges and universities for students to grade teachers. Almost every university has been established the rating system. (2) However, this phenomenon has (3) aroused great controversy. Some people are in favor of this rating system. They hold that students are the receiver of the knowledge and teaching activity and they have the right to evaluate teachers’ teaching. But other people are against it. They believe that the rating system is partial and will influence the normal teaching order. For example, it may add to the misunderstanding between students and teachers, which can actually be removed through communication. (4) As far as I am concerned, it is necessary for students to grade their teachers. On one hand, students can find a more effective way for their study. On the other hand, teachers can be aware of their teaching effectiveness and make some necessary improvement. In a word, it is a good method of benefiting both learning and teaching.
(3)aroused great controversy
