I think you have been to some places. So tell me where you have been to. (Justification: The map will attract Ss’interest and the teaching content would be naturally led in.) Step 2 Presentation(20 minutes) Activity 1: Practice in pairs and ask your partners with the sentence pattern "Have you ever been to ...? Activity 2: Look at the map above and role play conversations. Talk about where you have been, where you want to go, and how you are going to get there. (Justification: These two activities can help Ss practice what they have just learned and cultivate Ss’ awareness of cooperation and competition.) Step 3 Practice(10 minutes) Activity 1: Invite several groups to come to the front to introduce where they have been to and give some evaluation. Activity 2: Listen to the tape and finish task 2b. (Justification: These activities can improve students’ speaking and listening abilities.) Step 4 Production(10 minutes) Activity: Talk about where you want to go and image what scene you want to see there. (Justification: Cultivate Ss’creativity.)
