答案
The Importance of a Good Start Many people may start to work without a full plan or preparation; however, we should realize that a good start is half the success. It is significant to make a full preparation in the beginning of doing any job. For one thing, a good start lays a solid foundation for us. Abraham Lincoln once said, "Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe". We can infer that a good beginning will never waste our time but save our energy and enable us to work more efficiently in the following process. For another, a good start secures a strong position to achieve success. For instance, in a rider’s race, being in a good position in the starting grid is important in securing a strong position which is a key element to ensure a chance of winning the race. In all, a good beginning can bring us a lot of benefits. To achieve success, we should attach great importance to the start.
