The reasons are as follows. Firstly, working mothers can set better examples for their children, for they are more confident in themselves when they play successful roles both as mothers and as office workers. Secondly, stay-at-home mothers are often ignored by other family members. Most of them have no income and have to depend on their husbands. This would often lead to family conflicts or even family crisis. Thirdly, the life of full time mothers is quite monotonous, as they have very little social life. Being isolated, they are likely to suffer from serious psychological problems. In a word, I assume that mothers should not quit their jobs to look after the kids.
