答案 The Relation between Education and Earning Power People always have different opinions on the question whether education could influence earning power. Some insisit that education is proportional to earning power, while others refute that earning power is a kind of ability, and education could often restrain development of such ability. I think we should approach and analyze the question dialectically. It is true that Bill Gates only gets high school diploma, but I’ m sure that he must have continued his study and research in work, or otherwise he cannot achieve the success he has. What’s more, the world develops very fast now, new things appear very day, without proper education, one may not be able to get along with such rapidly changed society, not even to say to be successful. But if education is examination oriented instead of quality oriented, it will seriously restrain development of one’s earning power, as someone argues. Education is an important way to development one’s ability, but not the only one, for example, we can cultivate our ability in practice. To conclude, education does has relation with earning power, but we must make sure that the education is quality oriented, and chasten our ability in real life besides through education.
