答案 Sensitive as it might be, campus marriage has gained more support in recent years with the improvement of civil right consciousness in China. Although permitted by relevant laws, campus marriage remains a highly controversial issue in China. Some people find it natural for college students to get married, because these students are already adults. They of course have the right to decide whether to enter into a marriage by themselves. In addition, married students usually behave in a more grown-up way. They tend to show better insight into both personal and social responsibility, which benefits themselves a lot. Others, however, hold a totally different view. They insist that the main task for students should be study, and the establishment of a family will definitely distract them from it. Furthermore, adults as they are, college students are still not financially independent and not able to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of the family mentally. From where I stand, campus marriage shouldn’t be encouraged because most of us are not well prepared for starting a new family. At present we’d better focus on our academic studies and self-improvement. Marriage is a matter to be considered in the future.
