问题 Read the article about China and the WTO.
For each question 23-28 that follows, choose the correct answer.
Mark one letter (A,B or C) on your Answer Sheet.
On December 11th, 2001, China formally became one of the members of the WTO after a long period of 15 years’ negotiations with the WTO member countries. During these years, China gradually liberalized most of her trade and investment policies, making the official admission largely symbolic. It is quite significant for China to join the WTO. It certainly will facilitate China’s international business. And this should reinforce moves towards market liberalization. The WTO membership signals China’s commitment to establish clear and enforceable non-discriminatory rules to conduct business within its own country and with other countries.
China is becoming relatively powerful in the world’s economy. By joining the WTO, China can enjoy many favourable rights in doing international trade, but in the meantime, China has to perform her obligations. There are more advantages than disadvantages for China to join the WTO though China’s national industries may meet great impact.
After China becomes one of the WTO members, her economic growth will greatly increase and her legal and governmental reforms will be facilitated. According to a WTO report, which was released on October 10, 2002, China has become the fourth largest trade body in the world following the Triad: the United States, the European Union and Japan. The improved trade environment following her entry into the WTO resulted in the rapid growth in China’s trade volume. Therefore, it can be seen that China’s entry into the WTO has great positive impact on China’s international trade.
Since China became one of the members of the WTO, foreign investments have been flowing into this country, which is opposite to the prediction that China’s foreign investment would decrease after China’s entry into the WTO. This is because China has rich, low-cost labor resources and the vast market, both of which provide much scope for profit and make foreign investors more confident in investing in China. Besides, the stable and promising political and economic situations attract foreign investors.
China must observe the same "game rules" as the other members of the WTO do, which will speed up her step to integrate its economy into the global economic framework. Besides. China’s entry into the WTO will help private businesses to improve their growth. The Chinese government must also grant equal rights to all enterprises no matter whether they are state-owned or private ones according to the WTO equal treatment principle.
As one of the member nations, China can enjoy the favourable policies of the WTO, but______.

选项 A、China must change all her international business policies to perform her obligations
B、China must perform her obligations and make new policies
C、China must observe the "game rules" of the WTO and perform her obligations
