On the picture there are some eye-catching words reading "academic achievements in liberal arts" and "academic achievements in science". The picture subtly conveys serious concern about the separation between liberal arts and science. Undeniably, this commonly existing phenomenon will exert a disastrous influence on students. The division has deprived students of the chance to learn some subjects. If no effective remedy were introduced, it would become difficult for students to gain all-round knowledge and, more seriously, they would consequently become unable to stand themselves in good stead in the competitive society. Feasible strategies need to be employed to combat the potential risks. On one hand, teachers should realize the importance of all-around education. On the other hand, we should make a reform on the current education system. Predictably, it is not an easy task to win the battle, so we must strain every nerve and firmly believe where there’s a will, there’s a way.
