答案
Computer and Short-sightedness According to the bar chart, we can see the percentage of computer users in youth rose dramatically from 2% in 1965 to 50% in 2005. Simultaneously, the graph shows a sharp increase in China’s percentage of short-sighted persons who use computers in youth, from 5% to 60% during the same period. It is known that staring at computer screens too long will make your eye muscles tense and eyeball more lengthened, which may increase the risk of shortsightedness. This is especially the case for children and young adults, whose eyes are still developing. To prevent short-sightedness, you should give your eyes regular rests from looking at the screen for five to ten minutes every one or two hours of computer use. Besides, simply try to reduce the amount of time you spend on computer. We have to admit that computer is playing a significant role in our daily life. But shortsightedness is harmful, so we must use computers in a correct way.
