The man was called Uncle Sam Wilson. He was bore in Arlington, Massachusetts (麻萨诸塞州), September 13,1766. At the age of 14 Sam joined the American Revolutionary War, and served in the army under George Washington until the end of the war. He then moved to Troy New York State and begar a meat-packing business in the year 1812 war broke our between the United States and Great Britain.(47).
