答案 Problems Single Children Confront Nowadays, one-child family is becoming dominant in the current society. According to a recent survey carried out by China Daily, the past 10 years have witnessed a sharp increase in the number of single-child families. When single children attend universities, they may confront some problems. To begin with, though most of these college students are intelligent and fond of study, some are comparatively less capable of handling their social and living affairs. When they meet something unexpected, they don’t know how to deal with it. What’s more, single children tend to be self-centered and may easily neglect others’ thoughts and needs, which hampers the establishment of a harmonious relationship with others. In order to solve these problems, we should not blame all these on them. It is not their own faults to be like that because they are the inevitable products of certain times. Instead, we should sincerely help them realize their shortcomings and adapt themselves to the college life and society.
