Why isn’t Cathy going to the meeting tomorrow?

F: I didn’t go to the meeting yesterday. Is the next one tomorrow?
M: Yes. It’s at three p. m. Are you going to attend it, Cathy?
F: No, it s not a required meeting. And I’ve got a lot of work to do. But, could you let me know if they mention the party?

M: I’ve brought back your reference book for our Extensive Reading class. I thought you might use it for the exam. I’m really sorry not to have returned it last week.
F: I was wondering where the book was.
M: Sorry again.
