答案 In the past five years, there have been changes in people’s diet. The food from plants, traditionally dominated their diet such as grains, fruits and vegetables is holding a growingly small percentage now while the protein-containing food from animals such as milk and meat has remarkable growth in proportion in general. The possible masons resulting in the changes, to me can be as follows: first, there has been an increase in people’s income and supply of high-quality food since the food from animals is more nourishing and expensive. There has been such demand. Second, people’s diet structure is becoming more scientific. Meat contains fat while vitamin containing fruits and vegetable help people’s digestion, which accounts for the decrease in meat and increase in fruits and vegetables in 1990. Judging from the graph, I am positive that people’s diet will continue changing, but the tendency is that the food will be more nourishing and the diet structure will be more reasonable.
