While for non-211 Project university graduates, the principal channel of obtaining their first job offers is the information provided by their friends and relatives. The data in the table can be interpreted as follows: graduates from 211 Project universities enjoy more priority in job market compared with graduates from non-211 Project universities. As a matter of fact, this has long been a distinguishing feature of China’s university graduates recruitment.
