    The Writing Lab is a free service where all students at Purdue University can receive assistance and feedback on any writing-related task.     You are not required to make an appointment for a consultation, but it is highly recommended. Appointments guarantee mat you will meet with a consultant on a specific day and time. However, each day a certain number of drop-in slots are available. These times are given away beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day, so you can call to receive a same-day appointment.
