答案 As is vividly revealed in the drawing above, a man is imagining what a fish looks like. The announcement in the drawing reads " There will not be fish on our table in the year 2048". What is conveyed in the drawing is most thought-provoking and sounds an alarm for every citizen on the earth. The main reasons for the extinction of fish can be analyzed in the following two aspects. First of all, over-fishing is the No. 1 killer. Traditionally, people lack a scientific understanding of ocean and fish species. In order to obtain huge profits, over-fishing has become a common phenomenon. As a result, the ecological system of the ocean and sea has been severely ruined. What’ s more, pollution is increasingly damaging habitats of various fish species. As the global industry and economy develop rapidly, pollution is getting more serious than ever before. Much waste and poisonous water are discharged into the oceans and seas, which destroys the habitats of fish. As a consequence many ocean creatures die off. In short, over-fishing and pollution result in the extinction of many fish species. In my view, some necessary measures should be immediately taken to avoid the prediction in the drawing. On the one hand, an international education campaign must be launched to make people know the importance of protecting fish resources. On the other hand, relevant laws and regulations should be established to reverse the grim situation and protect ocean creatures. Only in these ways can we live in an environment of sustainable development and enjoy delicious fish for good. (258 words)
