However, are women liberated completely in the modern society indeed? The above cartoon just shows the answer to us. In the picture, a woman can not truly relax even on Women’s Day, because she has to do her job with a cautious and conscientious attitude during the day, and devote all her attention to take care of her husband and child after work. Through the picture, the purpose of the painter is not difficult to catch. He might want to attract our more attention to women’s position in the modern society. Today’s women are granted the equal right with men by law. They are playing an increasingly important part in many fields, some of which used to be held mainly by men. Women comprise a large part of the workers in businesses and factories. And many of them are going into professions, such as medicine, law and engineering. In spite of these changes, the liberation of women has not been completely realized. Personally, I am firmly standing on the side of those woman right defenders. Influenced by the traditional concept, women have to look after their children, do a mass of housework, and attend their husbands often when they go back home. In this way, women’s liberty is limited. Therefore, everyone must work together to change the old concept and ensure women are equal to men on every aspect.
