During a state of deep relaxation, several physiological changes take place

muscle tension and sweating ease, and there is decreased sympathetic

by Dr. David Holmes of the University of Kansas in the journal "American
Psychologist "says that simply sitting in an armchair has just as many beneficial
characteristics for the body for meditation does. Researchers of other relaxation 【S4】_________
techniques disagree. These experts believe that more structured techniques,
such as meditation, leading to a condition of deep relaxation. 【S5】_________
The debate goes on. But one thing appears to be clear: the relaxation
response can be reached by a number of method. However, there is no fixed useful 【S6】_________
method. One day, one method may work best; on another day, an alternative
method may be more appropriate. Once you are aware about all the 【S7】_________
methods, you can find the one which works best for you. 【S8】_________
Some of the relaxation techniques such as meditation, auto-analysis and
progressive muscle relaxation response, they have the adding benefits of structure 【S9】_________
and discipline, and for these reasons appear to be effective for most 【S10】_________
individuals than just sitting quiet in a chair.
