答案
It is said that two things are sure in American people’s life: death and taxes. From this saying, we see how much people hate being taxed and how much we long to keep all the money we earn. However, I think that we should pay tax to the government. First of all, paying taxes to the states can relocate the financial resources that help with social justice. If we all refuse to pay taxes, the rich will remain rich and the poor will stay poor. By getting taxes, the government can redistribute the social wealth towards those in great need. Second, taxes could be spent to build public facilities, which serve the interests of every citizen. When you walk around your neighborhood enjoying the nicely-scented park and when you take a subway to go to work, taxes are actually at play. If we keep all the money to ourselves, there is no one single person who can afford to build all these infrastructures. In conclusion, paying taxes is actually beneficial to social stability and public interests.
