Some think well-paid jobs are ideal jobs; some prefer cozy conditions in the jobs; some take the prospect of individual growth as the key factor in choosing jobs. Among many possible choices, teaching is my long-cherished ideal job. Speaking from my own experience, I enjoy teaching very much. Last summer holiday, I volunteered to teach English in a small village school in Gansu province. Though life there was very hard for me, I found true happiness out of all the toil. Whenever my students mastered the language points I taught them, I felt I was the happiest guy in the world. At that moment, I made up my mind to become a teacher in the future. Moreover, judging from the current situation of our country, I understand that our nation needs more qualified teachers, especially in the Northwest regions. It is known that education is a decisive component in our nation’s growth, and the quality of teachers is a decisive, factor in the development of education. I am confident that I will be a qualified teacher in the future. Judging from the above two perspectives, choosing teaching as my profession will be a perfect combination of my own preference and the urgent need of our nation. Therefore, teaching will be my ideal future job.
