答案 In the picture, a son and a father are featured. Each of them is burdened by one large sack. The son’s bag is representation of subjects he takes at school: Chinese, English, mathematics, etc., while the father’s is indicative of his expectations of his son: kid’s future, parents’ dreams, and upward comparison with others. We can imply from the picture that the son and the father are leading an exhausting life, weighted down with a heavy study load and high expectations respectively. One factor leading to this, as is shown in the picture, is the college entrance examination. In my opinion, we should ease students’ heavy burden of study and that of their parents’ expectations. To begin with, we should not attach too much importance to exams. Students should be given more time to develop their own hobbies, which would be beneficial to their all-round development. In addition, parents should be guided to give up the unnecessary stress. They should understand that they cannot transfer their own unfulfilled ambitions onto their children. In short, less importance attached to exams, as well as less pressure from parents, will let both children and parents enjoy a more relaxing life.
