Heavy traffic is expected because of the closure, so motorists driving south are encouraged to take Milton Boulevard instead. Meanwhile, those heading north toward the Hawkins Center for the Performing Arts can drive across Bullmer Bridge. Dean Avenue will be open again to vehicles at 3 P.M.
