Perfumes derives from the Latin word per and fumes with the meaning of "through smoke". The first to incorporate perfume into human being’s life are Egyptians. Perfumes have been a desired commodity since ancient times and it is popular over thousands of years.
Perfumes have magic power to influence emotions like love, hatred and passion. Some make us feel comfortable and fresh. Some give us the familiar smell which brings back the old memories. While using perfumes, there are three tips that need to be paid attention to.
1. Women’s perfumes are different from men’s. In women’s perfumes oil is used as a primary ingredient. This is different from men’s colognes. Alcohol is the principal component instead of oils in men’s perfumes.
2. The perfume on others may not suit you as favorably. Women young and old cannot resist a bottle of nice high quality fragrance. Fragrances are not the same to everyone. A truly great perfume might be truly great on one person but not necessarily a great perfume on the other. When you pick the perfume, make sure you have suitable perfume for different occasions. Try it out before putting it on yourself before you know whether you like it. It is important to choose one that suits your personality.
3. We had better shop for perfume in the afternoon when our sense of smell is at its peak and apply it after we have showered and dried completely. While using it, remember never overdo it. The reason is that overpowering smells can make the people around you very uncomfortable and may even cause headaches. Don’t combine perfume with deodorant or deodorant soap. The combination smell may be unpleasant.
