答案 July 12,2001 Fast Typing Mechanics Co. 234 Broadway Street. Kansas City, KS 73214 Dear Sirs, On January 3, 2001 I bought a Jones Typewriter, Portable Special Sample,at ABC Store in Springfield. I had used it only a few days when the space barbroke. We took it to a local repair shop; they told us that it was a factory defect and suggested that we take it to ABC.ABC accepted the machine and sent the part in. We waited three months, and since the company did not send a replacement, they let us have the space bar from another typewriter.Now, six months later, it has broken again. We took it back to ABC.They were no longer carrying your typewriter, but they assured us that the guaranteewas good and suggested that we wrote for further instructions as to what steps to take. The guarantee was registered in my name at the address below: 205 Elm Road, Springfield, KS 78901 I will appreciate anything you can do to help me on this matter. Respectfully, James Christopher
