　　In time, Ted wanted to both write and draw pictures for his own children’s books. His first book had many drawings of some of the cars and people he knew from the streets of Springfield. It helped to make Dr. Seuss a well-known name in children’s books.
　　Over the years, Ted wrote some of the best-loved children’s books in the world. He won a Pulitzer Prize and many other prizes for his work. 【B5】________But his books and his songs are still well-known today. More than 200 million of his books are now in print in 15 languages.
