答案 After several years of development, food delivery service, such as Meituan and Ele.me, has grown relatively mature. How-ever, there are still problems in this industry. Strict delivery rules protect the costumers’ interests, but neglect those of the delivery riders. Punctuality is the first principle for delivery. Once getting overtime,, riders will be punished with a fine equivalent to three orders’ earnings, which is unreasonable concerning the road condition and restaurants’ preparation of meals. To make matters worse, traffic accidents might happen due to this rule. Reports come occasionally that riders got hit by cars or they themselves hit others. When such tragedies take place, it is not the riders alone that are to blame, but also the rule makers. In conclusion, rigid rules not only make the job challenging for riders, but also pose potential threats to traffic security. For policy makers, the current regulations ought to be modified; for customers, patience and tolerance are required. After all, riders are not merely tools.
