    "Conversational English" is chiefly meant for intermediate(中级) level students. It aims at training the students’ ability to hear and speak English. The book consists of two volumes, each of which is made up of 16 lessons.
    Included in the first volume(册) are topics dealing with school life, social activities, family affairs, etc. The second volume treats various subjects, including social problems, politics, history, geography and other things.
