I am writing to commend you on a most spectacular and enjoyable performance at recent customer appreciation evening. I was very pleased with your performance. The comments from customers and employees also have all been so positive. I do not know why we didn’t have you sooner. I was particularly struck by your skills on the electric guitar.
After the performance, you told me you would like to be invited for our company events once again. As an event planner, I would like to invite you and your band for our 5th company anniversary party that will take place on July 20 at our auditorium.

I am writing this letter to you to thank you for kind words regarding the show we gave at your company head office, and also to thank you for your invitation to play at your anniversary party this weekend. Unfortunately, I cannot attend. I have a significant deal to close with KMC hospital opening event which falls on the same date.
However, I would like to introduce my long-time friend, Tony Brooks on my behalf. The two of us not only play the same style of music but also share a passion for the same instrument.
