答案 Who Should Be Criticized? As clearly drawn in the picture, a young man wearing glasses cries loudly while eating something, "Cities in foreign countries are really clean and tidy." To respond this, the fat man says, "Yeah, Chinese are of bad habit in nature." In fact, though, these two guys have thrown out too many litters and peelings on the ground. The idea behind this sarcastic scene may get noticed like this: "Who should be criticized and blamed?" It is witnessed in China that many a person litter rubbish anytime and anywhere; they spit on the spot; they shout loudly on public occasions and the like. However, all this just mirrors the misdeeds of a few of Chinese individuals, but cannot feature the behavior of Chinese as a whole. An overwhelming majority are law-abiding and thus friendly to the public environment. No doubt, it is quite wrong to look down upon Chinese people. In this sense, most of Chinese largely scorn at those blaming their own countrymen and those neglecting polite manners in public. Much evidence is nothing new here! Sated simply, China, as it is, needs not too many talkers, but a great many doers. Get started from petty things and we Chinese shall enter a higher phase of modern civilization and man-nature harmony. To be concrete, we ought to keep the public places much greener and cleaner. Meanwhile, I believe, to seriously criticize any misdeeds is also what counts much, just as suggested in the above drawing.
