College Students Owning Mobile Phones As is known to all, mobile phones have become a new necessity for common college students. People seem to get accustomed to keeping a mobile phone at hand. In fact,45% of college students in China have mobile phones. There are several reasons for the wide spread of mobile phones on Chinese college campus. Firstly, the prices of mobile phones have dropped rapidly. Secondly, college students need mobile phones to seek employment before graduation. Thirdly, mobile phones can meet their daily demands in communication. Finally, present-day mobile phones offer functions far more than simple communucation, and they have become an important form of entertainment for students. As a matter of fact, more students will buy mobile phones in the future. On the one hand, the actual demands for mobile phones will increase. On the other hand, both the price of mobile phones and fees of calling wiI1 decrease further. Therefore, most students will have a mobile phone sooner or later.
