According to a recent survey, Asian airports are the best in the world. The survey has covered 40 major global airports and 65,000 interviews. According to the result, Hong Kong international Airport was found to be the world’s best, followed by South Korea’s Incheon and Singapore’s Changi airport was placed third.
In Europe, though London and Paris airports are big and world famous, Copenhagen ranks first on the list. Dubai of the middle east ranks the fourth on the world list.
The survey asked travelers to rate airports on different items before they board flights. These items include airport facilities, transport convenience, the food in airport restaurants and even the toilet cleanliness is compared. After all, passengers care most about security.
Another important issue is air ticket price. Asian airports can’t offer lower prices because airlines control ticket prices or fares. But Asian airports often provide passengers with information on where and how to buy cheap tickets. Besides, Asian airports are more willing to listen to passengers’ advice on how to improve service. In all, they are trying to build customer loyalty through different ways. Maybe that’s why they win in today’s air competition.
Questions 11 to 12 are based on the passage you have just heard.
