答案　　Online shopping is vastly popular in China. I would say it has totally changed how people shop and affected the business modes in our country. Our biggest online shopping platform, Taobao, is provided by Alibaba, a forerunner and standard setter in e-business. Shopping on this platform has no doubt become many people’s way of life. I know many people who do almost all their shopping on Taobao, including buying daily necessities. Alibaba has created a tradition to launch a shopping festival on the 11th of November each year. Last year, the total sales on Alibaba’s platforms on that day reached an astonishing 168 billion Yuan! I think this number tells you everything you need to know about the popularity of online shopping in China.
