Should Cell Phones Be Allowed in Middle Schools?
选项
答案
Should Cell Phones Be Allowed in Middle Schools? The ever changing technology has rendered cell phones fairly affordable. Because of this, middle school students are proud owners of a gadget that used to be a luxury a few years back. Unfortunately, this handy device raises many teachers’ eyebrows as cell phones are deemed distractions in the classroom. In some cases, to ensure an undisrupted classroom instruction, students are specifically told not to bring their cell phones to schools. If spotted, the cell phone will be confiscated by the school authorities. This well-meant intention, however, leads to an outcry from parents, saying that cell phone is the only connection they could keep with their kids, when they are not around. Given the overwhelming desire to get connected, students should be allowed to take cell phones to schools, but they must be warned that they should not use them when having lessons or unless it is in an emergency. To guide the middle school students, instead of restraining them, is the best policy to promote the proper use of cell phones.
