M: Hello, are you Mrs. Smith?

M: I’m Gates. I live in the house next door.

M: How do you like Manchester?
W: Well, we’ve been here for a few days, but I think I m going to like it. I just hope we’ll be able to make friends easily. (4)It was very sad to leave all our old friends in Blackpool.

W: One thing I’d like to know is the best place to shop for groceries.
M: No problem. (6)There’s a new shopping center that just opened a month ago. It’s only about a mile from here. I can drive you there this afternoon and show you around. They have everything there you want.
