Tunisia is again making history as it holds its first-ever democratic election. Tunisian voters are expressing excitement and pride at the chance to choose from many candidates. More than 100 political parties have candidates in Sunday’s election. In earlier elections, only ruling party candidates were permitted to run. Tunisia’s rebelling led to the political events across North Africa and the Middle East called the Arab Spring.
