Some college students take classes during the summer. Others take the summer off from school so that they can rest or work at a job. Which do you think is better for students? Explain why.

答案
I think taking classes is better for students than resting or working. I think the main task for college students is learning. They’re at the stage of gaining knowledge and expertise; therefore, taking classes can help them to achieve this goal, while resting or working can be an interruption or a distraction. Secondly, college students don’t have classes during the summer, so they can use the time to learn other things that they’re interested in but don’t have the opportunity to learn during term time. This will help them develop themselves in a more comprehensive way.
