答案
Governments worldwide now have worked out many policies aimed at developing international tourism. Some people believe that it is beneficial to the economic development while others argue that it is harmful for the local environment and culture. As to me, tourism should be developed further instead of being stopped. In the first place, tourism is playing a prominent role in a country’s economy. Take China for example; there are a large number of tourism resources which are attracting millions of visitors from all over the world every year. This creates a lot of job opportunities and brings our country a large sum of income. In the second place, traveling can make our life meaningful and colorful. While traveling, we can learn about different cultures, different people and different customs, which broaden our horizons. Perhaps, the main rejection of tourism is that too many visitors coming will spoil the beautiful local landscape and surroundings. However, with the effective law enforcement and comprehensive education to visitors, this problem can be solved easily. Taking all the factors into consideration, we can safely conclude that tourism, as an important economic sector, will go further. At the same time, some steps should be made to minimize its ill effects.
