How much does one T-shirt cost?

W: I’d like to buy a T-shirt. But will I save any money if I buy a pair?
M: Yes. If you buy one, you have to pay six dollars, but you can have two of them for ten dollars.

M: Don’t you think it would have been very nice to have lived in the 19th century? They didn’t have this terrible stress and pace that we have.
W: Yes, but what did they do with that leisurely pace? All that most people had to think about was where the next meal was coming from.
