It takes only one-tenth of our monthly income to buy one bicycle. But it may take a family’s earnings in several years to buy a car. Second, riding bicycles is good for health. In this busy and competitive world, people spend much time on work. They do not have time to do physical exercises. Riding bicycles is a good choice for them to exercise their bodies and relax themselves. Third, bicycles bring no air pollution while cars consume plenty of oil and give off much waste gas, thus making air pollution even worse. China is a developing country. Only a few people can afford cars. Besides, air pollution is getting worse particularly in cities. I believe that the bicycle is and will be an important means of transport in China in the future.
