答案 In the illuminating picture, a big hand of the textbook hurriedly pushes two individuals backward who are respectively carrying a billboard marked with Nv hanzi or Tuhao, seemingly to say "no" to them. Such popular words among the teenagers are viewed as Internet language, a language variation created by the netizens in the net community. We might as well regard the phenomenon of word creation as young adults’ natural response to social issues. There is no denying that cyber language is more vivid, shortening people’s distance. However, some expressions like Nv hanzi and Tuhao are used outside electronic communication contexts, including print and spoken use. These cyber languages, though often vivid, fashionable, humorous and intelligent words, are always awash with some shallow words, even vulgar words. Educators are much worried that these coined languages will exert a negative effect on the teenagers both in their growth and in their study of the Chinese language. In my opinion, we should adopt an objective attitude towards the emergence of network language. Many network words and phrases are ridiculous in meaning and not standardized in formation, which will severely affect teenagers in their language study. Therefore, some necessary measures should be taken to ensure a healthy development of network language.
