As a result, they get low grades that do not show their real abilities. Many factors contribute to students’ testing anxiety. One reason is that some students don’ t work hard enough and they don’ t try to develop good study habits. Another reason is that some students don’ t feel confident in themselves and they are afraid of failures. Thus, they become so tense in an exam that they don’ t know how to answer the questions. Then what should a student do in order to cope with such testing anxiety? Here I’ d like to provide some solutions. On the one hand, students need to develop good study habits, and believe that hard work always pays off. Study is a process of step by step. So never cram for an exam, though before taking a test, effective reviewing is important, but excessive work should be avoided. On the other hand, be confident. Confidence comes from various aspects, such as your own psychological hint, praise from others or something makes you feel proud. All in all, testing anxiety truly exists. But you cannot let it beat you. You should find solutions to fight with it. In the long run, develop good study habits, get prepared well and nurture self-confidence. Before test, get yourself relaxed and have a good mood by a sound sleep!
