答案
Almost everyone likes sports. Sports are no longer limited to a few professional sportsmen. It has, in fact, become the most popular form of recreation that everybody can afford to enjoy. People of different ages from different walks of life are willing to watch and take part in some sports all over the world. This is because sports help to keep people fit, strong and healthy, and help people to live a happier, healthier and longer life. Despite the widespread love for sports, different people like different sports. Some people choose a sport for the type of exercise it offers. For instance, people practice weight lifting to enhance their strength, dancing to keep their figure, and marathon to improve their endurance. Other people participate in a sport for the type of knowledge it provides. Playing football and volleyball, for example, can teach people the importance of team work spirit, whereas going hiking and camping can give the opportunity for people to get close to the nature and appreciate different kinds of beauty. There are a wide variety of sports to satisfy the interests and needs of different people. As for me, my favorite kind of sports is basketball. If time permits, I usually go to play basketball with friends once or twice a week. It not only helps me keep fit and healthy, but gives me a lot of pleasure. In addition, I have learned a lot through the game. For example, in order to achieve a success in the competition, I have to learn to be more active and attentive, more aggressive and cooperative in playing games, which is also true for my work and studies.
