" This phrase wisely demonstrates the relationship between one’s personal endeavor and the fulfillment of his wishes. The underlying logic is convincing. It is unreasonable and problematic for a person to assume that uncontrollable external factors, such as others’ responses, economic circumstance and policy introduction, can always work in his favor. Even though other people complete the almost impossible task—fully understanding his wishes— and are willing to help him, they can not be totally devoted, since they have their own life. Even if the circumstance is favorable, it will hardly be tailored for him. No matter how friendly the outside world is, the determinant of the accomplishment of our wishes is our efforts. We should actively plan and endeavor for our own wishes.
